Gilgit Assembly
Assembly Hall for holding sessions is located in the main building of the Gilgit Baltistan Assembly with a capacity of 33 seats for Assembly members. Additionally, there are 25 seats in the joint Governor’s/Speaker’s Gallery for guests of honor and 25 seats for the top officials of the GB Government. The upper gallery has a capacity of 80 seats for distinguished guests, as well as 25 seats set aside for representatives of the news media.
The new Administration Building of the GB Assembly, inaugurated in 2018 duly accommodates about 20 Senior Officers in separate offices. It contains a Conference Hall for 40 people, a Committee Room for 15 people and a Committee Room for 12.

Gilgit Fort
Baltit Fort is a fort in the Hunza valley, near the town of Karimabad, in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of northern Pakistan. Founded in the 8th century CE, it has been on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative list since 2004.
In the past, the survival of the feudal regime of Hunza was ensured by the impressive fort, which overlooks Karimabad. The foundations of the fort date back to 700 years ago, with rebuilds and alterations over the centuries. In the 16th century the local prince married a princess from Baltistan who brought master Balti craftsmen to renovate the building as part of her dowry.

Diamer Bhasha Dam
Diamer-Bhasha Dam is a concreted-filled gravity dam, in the preliminary stages of construction, on the River Indus between Kohistan district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Diamer district in Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan administered Kashmir. Its foundation stone was laid by the then Prime Minister of Pakistan in 1998

Karakoram Cooperative Bank
Karakoram Cooperative Bank Limited Gilgit-Baltistan (formerly Northern Areas Provincial Cooperative Bank Ltd) was Established in 1956, under the Cooperative Societies Act, 1925. The Bank remained affiliated with the Federal Bank for Cooperatives from 1977 to 2002.

Supreme Appellate Court
In pursuance of a Judgment of the Supreme Court of Pakistan in the case Al-Jehad Trust Versus Federation of Pakistan etc. reported in 1999 SCMR, Page 1379, Government of Pakistan established Northern Areas Court of Appeals at Gilgit vide Gazette of Pakistan, extraordinary, part II dated 8 November 1999 with Appellate Jurisdiction, the Court started function on 27 September 2005, when the Chairmen and members were appointed. on 15 December 2007 by virtue of amendments in the Northern Areas Governance order 1994, the nomenclature of the Court was re-designated as Northern Areas Supreme Appellate Court and its jurisdiction was also enlarged by conferring Original and Appellate jurisdiction, It was also given the Status equal to the Supreme Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. On 9 September 2009, the Supreme Appellate Court was conferred the similar jurisdiction equal to the Supreme Court of Pakistan by promulgating Gilgit-Baltistan ( Empowerment and Self Governance Order) 2009. The Supreme Appellate Court is consisting of a Chief Judge and two Judges. The Permanent Seat of the Court is at Gilgit, but the Court also sits from time to time at Skardu Branch Registry.

Cancer Hospital Gilgit
The first ever Cancer Hospital in Gilgit, completed at a cost of 2. 56 billion rupees which will become functional from next month. Our Gilgit correspondent Sher Muhammad reports that it is the 19th cancer hospital set up by Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission in the country. The facility is a state-of-the-art double story hospital equipped with modern machinery for treatment of cancer patients.
